Forecasting a busy
This year will start out with a jam-packed January as Danny Orleans travels to New York City to perform SalesMagic® at the National Retail Federation Show at the Javits Center. Then he'll work the American Correctional Association trade show in Tampa before flying to Cancun, Mexico to perform at the Dairy Queen International convention.
Dates for Q1 are continuing to fill in with Danny returning to the show floor of the Data Warehousing Institute in Las Vegas and then teaching a teambuilding workshop at the Awards and Recognition Association with partner Julie Paradise of Communication Strategies. March includes another trip to Vegas for GlobalShop, then on to Anaheim for Activeion at the Natural Products Expo West. Then you can look for Danny to "appear" at FOSE (Federal Office Systems Exposition) in Washington, DC.

A Challenging Year
Although 2009 was certainly a year of challenge and change for Corporate Magic, we were pleased to be making new clients and appearing at special events and trade shows for former clients. Danny Orleans and Jan Rose appeared at many repeat clients' holiday parties including Kingstree Trading, Boston Consulting, PEAK6 Investments, Lillibridge Healthcare Services, and Lifeway Foods in December.
Our staff of magicians again appeared at the FH Paschen holiday party (6 magicians and 3 caricaturists this year) where Danny Orleans made founder Bud Paschen disappear (temporarily). |
Danny entertained the staff of consultants at the Boston Consulting Group's annual party.

Welcome New Clients: Western Union, Ingenico and Activeion
When Svy Nekrasas worked for Aon Consulting 10 years ago, he saw for himself how effective Danny Orleans' traffic building talents were at the Society of Human Resources Show (SHRM). When he took the position of Marketing VP at Ingenico, he called upon Danny Orleans to elevate his company's profile at the National Retail Federation show in New York. Welcome Ingenico!

Western Union Global Business Payments has hired Danny Orleans to brand their name at the American Correctional Association Show as they introduce their electronic payment solutions to the industry. We're looking forward to representing this division of Western Union at several shows this year.

In 2009, "Green" was everywhere on trade show floors. Our greenest client was Activeion who manufactures the first family-friendly, non-toxic cleaner. How can a liquid cleaner not be toxic? If it uses an ionizing technology to convert tap water into a safe, effective cleaner and sanitizer. It's not magic, it's science. Danny will be at Activeion's booth at Expo West in March. Comedy Mindreading on Navy Pier
Chicago's Navy Pier is the most visited destination in the Midwest. Last year, Danny and Jan performed their comedy mind reading act on the Dock Street Stage 10 times. With crowds averaging 150 people all standing around watching, Jan Rose read the minds of tourists - getting laughs and applause over and over again.
